What are we looking for?
The GSCM Supply Chain Lead oversees a team of procurement and supply chain professionals. This position will oversee commercial relationships with direct material suppliers.
In this exciting role the Supply Chain Lead will work with the current Arcadis OFCI and CFCI teams; providing SCM M&E general support required. The successful candidate will act as a main point of contact for Singapore Supply Chain Managers and Project Managers. In this position, the Lead will be required to drive procurement and fulfillment of OFCI scope via existing OFCI processes and systems. The Supply Chain Lead will be the Point of Contact (POC) for all OFCI and CFCI M&E escalations and adherence to the current process (Escalation, Allocations, Swaps).
Job Scope:
Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
- Procuring and fulfilling of OFCI scope via existing OFCI processes and systems
- MY POC for all OFCI and CFCI M&E escalations and adherence to the current process (Escalation, Allocations, Swaps)
- Working with the current DPS OFCI and CFCI teams
- Providing SCM M&E general support required.
- Create and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for category materials covering market trends, supply assurance, quality improvement, supplier development, sustainability, and financial and supply risk mitigation.
- Effectively manage relationships with suppliers by implementing the vendor score card process.
- Develop and implement cost savings projects and financial forecasting.
- Report and manage costs on a live basis to ensure cost control on large-scale projects.
- Negotiate and execute contractual agreements in accordance to established company policies and procedures.
- Preparation of forecasts for importers and manufacturers, and diligent tracking of lead time.
- Ensure compliance related process and procedures are uncompromised.
- Develop disruption mapping and mitigation strategies.
- Own and maintain all category supplier relationships.
- Lead supplier selection and development process while working with cross-functional teams like R&D, Marketing, and Quality, etc. to develop innovative products.
- Lead evaluation of supplier capabilities, cost structure, risks, and partnership potential to determine supply base.
- Any tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong project management, leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and inspire a cross functional teams.
Skills:
- QS/Procurement background an advantage
- Ability to negotiate and get value across medium site projects.
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
- Solid knowledge of SAP R/3, SAP/PLM, MS Office Suite Programs
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Can do and solution driven attitude
- Willing to learn and develop
