This position is to manage and update customer pertaining to Air Import Shipments activities

Job Description:

• To monitor closely assigned customers’ inbound shipments

• Work closely with respective overseas offices to monitor its uplift at point of export till its arrival

• Update customers promptly of delivery date and if any irregularity to inform them

• Maintain close communication with overseas offices, internal customers, authorized contractors and ground handling agents to track closely its arrival and customs clearance

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by his/her immediate superior and/or manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in regular customer meetings to assess performance, address requirements, and refine processes.
• Monitor order and delivery schedules, coordinating with customers, the customer service team, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery performance.
• Attend quarterly reviews with customers, led by the Account Manager.
• Handle and resolve claims by implementing corrective action plans as needed.
• Consistently maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers.
• Work closely with Account Managers and Logistics Team; coordinate as a one front approach towards customers
• Monthly operational review with Account Managers, Logistics and Customer Service Teams to review and resolve all outstanding issues
• Prepare and organize operations in accordance to company quality guidelines
• Oversees and manage AOG rostering and assignment
• Develop effective strategies that enhance operational work flow and distribution
• Manage individual team member’s performance to targeted standard through combination of feedback, coaching, corrective counselling and discipline, and performance review
• Analyse service operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement including people, processes and technologies
• Support our process of continuous improvement with customers, vendors and providers
• Work in accordance to ISO9001 and AN/EN9120 standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant and related experience in the Aviation and customer service functions
• Previous management or supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to lead team with strong delegation skills is required
• Experience analyzing and determining staffing requirements, work schedules, and resources needs is desirable.

Job Description :

• Responsible for end to end Post fixture for all our Time chartered vessels from the pre fixture stage till voyage completion
• Overlooking all running operational matters for the managed vessel
• To work per the terms and conditions of the agreed contracts and to ensure compliance of all requirements
• Ensure voyage P&L accuracy, providing input for payment due to Owners and receivable from Charterers
• To issue voyage instruction to vessel master in accordance to the governing CP
• To appoint agents / weather routing services / order bunkers / appointing surveyors
• To check all shipping documents such as pre-stowage plan, B/L,LOI’s
• Handle claims in coordination with legal/P&I / lawyers
• Handling freight invoice, demurrage/despatch, laytime hire payment and port disbursement and so on
• Communication with vessel’s masters, owners/charterers or brokers, ports agent
• Monitoring vessel’s movement and performance and report to related parties and any dispute against counterparty such as cargo damage or shortage, lay-time, underperformance and so on, to communicate for settlement based on charterparty

Requirement :

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Maritime Studies or equivalent
• 3-5 years of working experience in the field of dry-bulk vessel operation or chartering
• To comprehend maritime terms and to be able to arrange everything for the accomplishment of the voyage independently
• Prior experience in dry bulk will be a distinct advantage
• Experience in both TC and VC
• Well experienced in handling vessels operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Good team player
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
