- Working Timing: 5.5 Days work week
Monday - Friday [ 9am - 6pm ] Alternative Saturday [ 9am - 1pm ]

Roles & Responsibilities
One of the leading sports goods companies of Asia, involved in wholesale & distribution of branded sports equipment, accessories, footwear & apparel. The company has offices in several countries of Asia with headquarters at Singapore.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Product Development: handle the entire pipeline of product development from sourcing to final delivery
● Material and Component Selection: Research and select cutting-edge materials and components that enhance the functionality and aesthetics of our footwear while meeting costing requirements
● Prototyping and Testing: Ensure rigorous testing and validation of prototypes to meet performance, durability, and comfort criteria.
● Technical Oversight: Provide technical expertise and ensure the creation of detailed technical specifications and documentation for manufacturing processes.
● Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer preferences, and technological advancements to inform and inspire the team.
● Quality Assurance: Maintain stringent quality standards through comprehensive testing and analysis.
● Sourcing: Find and maintain relationships with the best manufacturers that can meet our needs
● Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of footwear developers and merchandisers
Requirements:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.
● Experience: 7+ years of experience in footwear design and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a high-performance or athletic brand preferred.
● Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, 3D modelling, and other design tools. In-depth knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes.
● Understanding of Biomechanics: Comprehensive understanding of biomechanics to ensure designs optimise athlete performance and reduce injury risk.
