Job Objectives
The jobholder, a member of the Flight Hour Services (FHS) organization, based in Singapore, reporting operationally to the HO FHS Business Project Support.
The FHS organization defines and delivers tailored packages of maintenance services designed to meet the overall requirements of the customer, ranging from FHS-components up to a Tailored Support Package (TSP). Such packages include component maintenance, spare management, airframe maintenance and engineering services that are delivered by cooperating with a partner, suppliers such as OEMs, MROs or other service providers, subsidiaries or between several Operating Units.
The Operations Performance Analyst transforms data into actionable insights for the FHS Operations. The Analyst works with Data available on MIS, Skywise and other sources to provide FHS with easy-to-understand insights, statistics and visualizations developed in Skywise and Qlik Sense. The Analyst will need to understand the available data, clean and filter it as appropriate, in order to transform it as inputs to visualizations specified by the FHS teams (reports or applications).
The Operations Performance Analyst manages the successful delivery of digitization projects in Qlik Sense or Skywise within time, budget and quality targets. The Analyst will be working with the FHS Business Projects Support Team and Global FHS business experts to deliver digital tools. To achieve this, the jobholder will have to gather knowledge of the operational processes and understand the link between the virtual flow and physical flow of the supply-chain activities of FHS. The Analyst will work in close connection with Operations, Inventory, Program & Methods & Tools to understand the data being used and the purpose it is used for. The Analyst will work together with the Qlik and Trust Project team (in Toulouse) to build a strong and unique model (single source of truth) by linking together all the sources of Key FHS data.
Job Responsibilities
Scope on Skywise and Qlik Sense
- Understand Development requirements coming from Business and develop solutions in appropriate platforms (Skywise, Qlik, Looker Studio).
- Implement the analytics pipeline against the business needs of the data visualization (data cleaning, wrangling, transformation and visualizations)
- Create, improve and maintain high quality data model for the FHS perimeter in Qlik Sense/Skywise based on discussion with business experts worldwide
- Develop, test and validate changes to the data model in Qlik Sense/Skywise based on discussion with business experts worldwide
- Develop, test and validate new calculations, reports and visualizations
- Secure sustainability of the model by taking all necessary actions (industrialization and document solutions on the coding logic or application user guides)
- Be the interface between the functions, the data ecosystem and the requested solution (Skywise or Qlik Sense)
- Provide consultancy to subcontracted developers on available data, assist on its link with FHS operational physical activities and provide logic to filter data appropriately
- Verify the integrity of data used for analysis and trigger data quality improvement initiatives.
- Communicate findings through effective and easy-to-understand data visualizations adapted to the audience
Price Data Scope
1) Support FHS Team
- Generate the price data file 3 ~ 4 times a year (Q1, Q2 and late Q3 or early Q4)
- Manage and Maintain Price data report and logics on Skywise
- Propagate SAP price data to other MIS and sites (AMASIS, Summer, Gsheet, Skywise)
- Provide forecasted list of FHS PNs of the upcoming year to PMRS for them to source prices
- Support any ad-hoc pricing requests
2) Support Initial Provisioning team
- Act as the intermediary to liaise with PMRS for missing prices in RSPLs for A220 and legacy programs (A320, A330, A350, A380)
Secondary Responsibilities
- Provide consultancy to subcontracted developers on available data, assist on its link with FHS operational physical activities and provide logic to filter data appropriate
- Support FHS Tools Industrialization by reducing Business Owned tools in Skywise through developments in Qlik
- Ensure smooth transition of FHS data products into SAP AP1 core model in Qlik Sense
- Support improvement projects within FHS to improve business processes and performance
- Ensure compliance with Airbus data governance on applications development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in Information Systems or related degrees (e.g Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace/Industrial Engineering etc.)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst
- Data analysis background and experience with Business Intelligence tools, Strong knowledge of Qlik Sense is key
- Hands-on programming experience with Python/R/Spark, SQL
- Experience in developing data visualizations and dashboards using Python, PowerBI, Looker Studio
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology is a plus
- Skywise/digital development knowledge is a plus
- Experience in the Aviation Maintenance industry or Supply Chain industry is a plus
