Roles & Responsibilities

• To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Supervise all civil and structural works, both permanent and temporary
• To ensure that contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• To conduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures
• To review, evaluate and assess all formwork structures, formwork support systems etc
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation
• To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• To review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
• To review the Contractor's design and supervise all works

Job Requirement:

· The RTO shall be accredited by the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) and/or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
• The RTO shall have minimum of THREE (3) years engineering experience
• Required Skill(s): Organizing, Planning and Prioritizing Work, Time Management, Communication, Go-getter mindset

Responsibilities

Assist Consultants/client in the supervision and quality assurance of construction works on site.
Ensure that all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications.
Liaise with the contractors/sub-contractors in the coordination of site works
Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and irregularities to Consultants.

Ensure the contractors maintain work safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the site.

Requirements

Degree in Civil and structural Engineering with at least 3 years' post tertiary experience in Singapore, of which 2 years must be supervise of residential/commercial ,LTA(MRT,Road) project as RTO.

Must be Registered with IES/ACES as RTO (C&S)
