As the General Manager for Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand our market presence, enhance customer relationships, and drive revenue growth. You will lead a team of professionals and work closely with senior management to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the business development team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales targets.
- Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance business growth.
- Proposal Development: Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and contracts to potential clients.
- Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance related to business development activities.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, progress, and performance to senior management.
- Innovation: Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the business development team.
Qualifications:
- Education: MBA from a recognized university.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Construction market in Singapore.
