We are seeking an Experienced Developer to join our dynamic software development team. As a seasoned professional with practical experience in C# .NET, .NET Core, Angular, and microservices architecture, you will be a key player in developing scalable and efficient software applications to meet our business needs. A robust understanding and prior experience in constructing technology platforms for regulatory reporting, particularly MIFID and MAS, would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a hands-on developer, you'll design, create, and modify our application's user interface using Angular. You'll deliver interactive, efficient layouts that ensure an outstanding user experience.

• You'll develop robust and scalable microservices using C# .NET and .NET Core, forming the core business logic of our applications.

• You'll implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and conduct extensive unit testing to maintain top-notch code quality.

• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining databases using PostgreSQL in the AWS environment.

• You'll work on building scalability and reliable application using AWS technologies.

• You'll undertake the integration of our software with existing systems, focusing on streaming technologies like Kafka and MSMQ.

• Utilize TeamCity and Octopus for continuous integration and deployment of our applications.

• You'll collaborate with other developers to improve existing systems and platforms, providing necessary technical support to resolve system issues.

• Engage with business stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication skills and agile development practices.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• Extensive hands-on experience as a Senior .NET Developer.

• Profound expertise in Angular for UI development and a comprehensive understanding of HTML5/CSS3.

• Proficiency in .NET Core and C# for mid-tier development.

• Solid knowledge of design/architectural patterns and experience with microservices architecture.

• Practical experience with back-end technologies, including the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and AWS technologies like S3, Aurora, PostgreSQL, Containers, and EKS.

• Familiarity with Kafka and MSMQ streaming technologies for system integration.

• Proficiency in using Git for version control, with experience in TeamCity and Octopus for continuous integration and deployment.

• Demonstrable understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and experience with unit testing frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, superior communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

• Experience in Agile development practices and effective communication with business stakeholders.

• A strong understanding of financial regulatory reporting platforms such as MIFID and MAS would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in planning, developing, and executing comprehensive tests. As a member of the Quality Engineering team, you will work closely with the development, BA and support teams to understand the application’s features and architecture to develop test cases to ensure that the application’s UI / API / Data layers are thoroughly tested before releasing into production.

Principal Responsibilities

• Become an SME of the application and utilize that knowledge to own and drive end-to-end testing initiatives throughout the entire SDLC from project test planning, requirement review, test design, test execution, test reporting and sign off.

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable automated test cases using in house automation framework libraries and open-source frameworks to achieve highest possible test automation coverage.

• Be a strong quality advocate, collaborating closely with software engineers and product owners to release highest quality products.

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test execution environments/pipelines.

• Work with SDETs to suggest and contribute new features/changes to central framework library and tools.

• Work with QA team members to achieve upstream/downstream integration testing.

Qualifications / Skills Required

• Highly Skilled individual contributor

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation Harness Development or Software Development using Java, Junit

• Experience with test automation for Appian is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of financial instruments and nomenclature, experience with various trading or back-office systems is desired but not

• required.

• Proven track record of building test automation frameworks and integrating automated testing tools with them.

• Proficient in Java / Python with a good knowledge of its ecosystems

• Strong Web Automation using Selenium or similar tools (preferably Playwright)

• Strong API Test Automation using Rest Assured or similar tools

• Experience with CI / CD from test automation perspective.

• Abilities to solve complex problems with practical, maintainable and scalable solutions

• Strong technical skills, practical knowledge of SQL

• Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and tracing root cause.

• Experience in automated testing of distributed systems / solutions.

• Experience designing, implementing, or enhancing test harness / framework

Desired Skills:

• Working with AWS cloud applications and understanding of AWS S3, RDS, Athena would be a plus.

• Any experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter

• Any experience in Linux
