We are an electrical company that specializes in electrical fitout projects compliant with EMA and SP regulations. We are currently seeking an individual who can serve as the primary client liaison and effectively translate the specifications from drawings and plans into actionable tasks for our installation team members. He or She must also be able to do up quotations for the work scope required.
- Project Planning: Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
Define project objectives and deliverables.
Create a detailed work breakdown structure.
- Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the client and the project team.
Keep the client informed about project progress and any changes.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Ensure that the project team has the necessary tools and resources to complete tasks.
- Budget Management: Develop and maintain the project budget.
Monitor expenses and control costs to ensure the project stays within budget.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks.
Develop risk mitigation strategies.
Implement risk management plans.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables.
Conduct regular quality inspections and audits.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules.
Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Implement and enforce safety protocols on the project site.
- Scope Management: Define and manage the project scope.
Handle scope changes through formal change management processes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, including documentation of meetings, decisions, and changes.
Prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the project team.
Provide guidance and support to team members.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues and conflicts that arise during the project.
Make decisions to keep the project on track.
- Procurement and Vendor Management: Procure materials and services as needed for the project.
Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Closeout and Handover: Ensure a smooth project closeout process, including client acceptance and final documentation.
Hand over completed projects to the client or operations team.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
Please note that these responsibilities can vary based on the size and complexity of the electrical project, as well as the specific requirements of the organization. A skilled electrical project manager is essential to the successful completion of electrical projects, as they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project from inception to completion.
Qualifications: At least 2 Years in related Electrical Engineering Industry or Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering
Note: Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) certifications are essential for individuals working in construction in Singapore to ensure the safety of workers and compliance with local regulations.
We would prefer if you already have WSH Certifications, and able to prepare MSRA.
