JOB RESPONSIBILITY

You will be learning the latest operational aspects of the highly proprietary processes.

You are expected to understand and comply with all Corporate and Plant EHS rules/policies/procedures. You will work closely with Process Engineers in learning the process and equipment troubleshooting, establishing the work centre document (SOP) system, and training all Manufacturing Assistants. You will also assist Production Supervisors in fulfilling shipments with good quality products to customers on time. You will also be involved in Kaizen activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the operations team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience. Those without manufacturing experience may also apply
• Good statistical background with knowledge of Lean/Six-Sigma methodologies
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Able to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts

Job Description:

Summary

To provide primary support for manufacturing operations through effective maintenance support and ensuring optimal production equipment uptime and Performs job functions in a safe manner under 3M policies and practices.

To perform routine and non-routine maintenance work as assigned, diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot, service and repair production process equipment and facility support equipment.

Responsible for ensuring that all proper documentation is updated and ready for use as required by ISO 9000 standards.

Responsibilities

Percentages of time spent are estimates and may vary for individual positions.

1. To perform routine and non-routine maintenance work as assigned, diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot, service and repair production process equipment and facility support equipment (Calibrating circuits, systems and devices used in the measurement and controlled) (65%)

2. Perform all documentation of programs, electrical drawings. Ensure all documentation are updated to the data management system and ready for use as required by ISO 9000 standards. All preventive maintenance documentation is updated and ready for use as required by ISO 14001 and OSHA 18001 certification. (15%)

3. Performs improvement project and machine modification project (MOC) as assigned. (20%)

• Develop and implement organizational designs aligned with business and functional client strategies

• Design and execute impactful strategies and initiatives, such as change management, retention programs, and workforce adjustments
• Lead HR process design or redesign to align to our operating model and HR structure (potential, performance, promotion, etc.)
• Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across HR COEs by leading priorities with enterprise-wide impact, aligned to strategic imperatives of 3M’s employee experience
• Work with business clients and the HR M&A team to effectively manage mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Expert in Human Resources area

• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional and international project teams
• Demonstrated ability to effectively influence stakeholders at every organizational level
• Excellent communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex concepts and tailoring messages to diverse audiences

• Proficient in Agile methodologies
• Skilled in collaborating with clients to design and implement organizational structures that support business objectives
• Experience with or demonstrated knowledge of change management, including identifying change impacts, creating and implementing mitigation strategies, and measuring change process/success
• Track record of implementing people plans that align with business objectives, including capability planning/advancement, employee engagement, talent management, DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) initiatives, etc.
• Diverse HR experience in various sectors, such as plant, business, and COEs, is preferred
• Global HR experience preferred
• Bi-lingual proficiency preferred
