Job Responsibilities
- Support internal stakeholders on procurement activities in a timely and effective manner, understand their needs and expectations and find the best solution balancing cost and quality within the required timeline
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to ensure requirements are met with the best supplier for the given sourcing application – complying with company policy and quality standards
- Negotiate supplier agreements, terms, and condition to maximize value for the company
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery
- Ensure daily procurement activities (including vendor registration, creation of new items , verifying costing sheet, sending tax invoices to finance for payment)meet all compliance requirements at all times for all transactions
- Generate and maintain tracking schedules on procurement activities
- Collect closeout documents including delivery notes, invoices,
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department
Job Requirements
- Diploma preferred in a relevant field
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in related field or fresh graduates are welcomed
- Good understanding of procurement process and the most important requirement will be the :can learn: altitude
- Have a high sense of urgency and adapt to change quickly in a fast pace and changing environment
- Proactive, high level of integrity, good team spirit and able to work under pressure
- A solution-oriented attitude that focuses on delivering for the business
