Duties & Responsibilities :

· To lead site construction team in ensuring smooth execution of work.

· To plan ahead of schedule so that site problems can be resolved before they have impact on cost, overall schedule and quality.

· Manage Correspondence & Documentation with Client/Client' Representative and Contractors.

· To administer changes to the contract with the contracts department.

· To review and approve equipment / materials requisitions.

· Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors

· Liaising with authorities, client's representatives, sub-contractors and consultants.

· Checking and ensuring all plans and work are as per specifications.

· Resolving any technical difficulties and problem that may arise on site.

Requirements :

· Diploma/Degree holder in Construction/Building or related discipline.

· Minimum 3years experience from Construction background.

· Positive personality and good team player.

· Meticulous and responsible.

· Able to multi task and work in tight schedules.

Job Description

· Quantity measurement, costing and estimation for both pre-contract and post-contract

· Track changes to the Design/ Construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly

· Procurement responsibilities including preparing tender document or calling for quotation for subcontract packages including evaluation through cost comparison as well as recommendation of awards

· Certificate and evaluate progress work done; includes contract administration for any variation or change for both Subcontracts and Main Contracts

· Prepare and follow up monthly progress claims in timely manner

· Perform other QS-related duties as assigned by the Reporting Supervisor

. Any other duties related to Quantity Surveyor which the Contract Manager requires the role to be duly performed.

Job Requirements

- Minimum 4 years working experiences in Singapore construction industry and

- Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying or relevant qualifications.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & AutoCAD drafting.
