Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Grip/Camera Operator to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to grow their skills in the media production industry. While experience is a bonus, attitude and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
Key Responsibilities
1. Camera Operations:
* Assist with setting up and operating cameras during shoots.
* Ensure proper handling and maintenance of camera equipment.
* Support the Director of Photography and senior crew members as needed.
2. Grip Work:
* Set up and adjust lighting and rigging equipment to meet shoot requirements.
* Collaborate with the production team to build, position, and dismantle equipment safely and efficiently.
3. Equipment Management:
* Ensure all equipment is neat, organised, and in good working condition.
* Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
4. Collaboration and Initiative:
* Take initiative to propose ideas or improvements during pre-production, shoots, and post-production processes.
* Work seamlessly as part of a team to ensure smooth production workflows.
5. Learning and Development:
* Be open to learning new skills and techniques on the job.
* Stay updated with industry trends and technology advancements.
