Roles & Responsibilities:
The Sales and Operations Manager will be accountable to the Director and will liaise with clients, suppliers, and partners. They will play a crucial role in boosting sales, overseeing day-to-day operations, and maintaining top-notch operational standards in our handyman services company. Leading a team of sales representatives and operational staff, they will ensure exceptional service delivery to clients while maximizing revenue and profitability.
Individual to be involved in:
1. Develop an understanding of the company's operational procedures and study the services industry, market trends, and competitor analysis. They will undergo comprehensive training on all services offered, including pricing, unique selling points, and service standards, to efficiently manage and oversee daily operations.
2.Develop advanced sales skills, including negotiation tactics, closing techniques, and upselling/cross-selling strategies. They will explore techniques for generating and nurturing leads through various channels and acquire best practices for maintaining and improving customer relationships.
3.Training on compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. They will understand and monitor operational policies and procedures, learn techniques for identifying and mitigating operational risks to ensure all operations adhere to safety regulations and industry standards, conduct regular safety audits, and implement necessary corrective actions.
4.In-depth training on the company’s operational workflows, including scheduling and project management. They will analyze current workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, propose and implement improvements to streamline operations, and assist in managing resource allocation to ensure the efficient use of manpower and materials.
5.Develop advanced techniques for complex tasks, such as advanced plumbing and electrical work, to diagnose and solve intricate issues. Trainee will also effective communication with clients, including managing expectations and handling complaints, as well as managing work orders, including documentation and reporting.
