Responsibilities
- Translate documents and materials from English to Korean and vice versa, maintaining accuracy and tone.
- Collaborate with the Program Development team to understand project requirements and target audiences.
- Review and edit translations to ensure clarity, consistency, and cultural relevance.
- Assist in localizing content for the Korean market, adapting messaging to fit cultural nuances.
- Provide linguistic support during meetings and presentations as needed.
- Conduct research to ensure correct terminology and understanding of subject matter in translations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and language usage to keep translations relevant and effective.
Requirements
- Fluency in Korean and English, with excellent writing and speaking skills in both languages.
- Proven experience in translation, particularly in technical or program development fields.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and context in language translation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality in all translations.
- Familiarity with localization processes and tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
