Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in business development, contract management, strategic partnerships, and project management.
The successful candidate will assist in the administration of collaboration agreements and support various Project Management and Technical & Business Development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management
- Draft, negotiate and finalise collaboration agreements, non-disclosure agreements, procurement agreements, material transfer agreement, data access agreement and service agreements.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking of contract status and renewal and provide reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate customer account creation for new industry and collaboration partners
- Coordinate filing of technology disclosures and patents
- Assist in preparing materials and organizing events and workshops related to business development initiatives.
- Support and facilitate the training of scientific staff in using standard agreement templates
Project Management
- Ensure timely and proper project documentation in the Project Management System
- Work with project managers to track the progress of project deliverables
- Track contract agreement billings to ensure timely billing by project teams
- Facilitate project management operations, and develop and implement procedures to improve project lifecycle management.
- Any related administrative or ad hoc duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer(s)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of working experience, preferably in a research or academic setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Positive learning attitude with good interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong interest in business development and project management
