Have Industry Development experience in Singapore Manufacturing sector
· Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to drive SIMTech technology/solutions adoption in the assigned industry vertical
· Compile market intelligent for assigned industry vertical to identify market opportunities and competitions for SIMTech .
· Strategize with Initiative lead & MPTC director to grow industry engagement and industry revenue for the assigned industry
· Liaise with various government agency to align strategy to grow the specific industry and explore various government funding for industry to adopt SIMTech solutions.
· Meet Industry Development Office KPI: Grow SIMTech Industry Revenue, Industry in-kind contribution, Licensing revenue, SIMTech competitive funding, publicity of successful implementation of SIMTech solutions.
· Develop key accounts to secure joint-lab projects (Large long term (3 years) projects supported by IAF-ICP funding)
· Develop strategy and workplan to grow the industry revenue and licensing revenue through Strategic Industry Partners. (which include identifying key technology partners & channel, working closely with them to drive sales & implementation of SIMTech digital & automation solutions both locally and overseas)
· Develop marketing collateral, newsletter, brochure and maintaining websites for Manufacturing Productivity Technology Centre of SIMTech to promote SIMTech Digital and Automation solutions.
· Organize marketing events (seminar, round table discussion , meetings , etc) to promote SIMTech digital and automation solutions and generate customer leads.
· Automation & Digital Technology knowledge for Manufacturing Industry
· Ability to understand the automation & Digital technology landscape & Trends for Manufacturing industry (I5.0 trends)
· Good understanding of SIMTech automation technology product & capability (strength and weaknesses) as compared to other competitor’s digital & automation technology
· Strategic positioning – How to position SIMTech technologies/solutions in the industry , finding market niche and develop effective marketing strategy to promote SIMTech Technology/solutions to grow technology adoption & SIMTech revenue.
Other IDM roles
- Oversee the progress of industry projects implementation and ensure they are completed on-time . Ensure billing are done according to payment schedule and customers survey are done upon project completion.
- Responsible to maintain good relationships with existing and new industry partners. Formulate business plan, funding structure and manage commercial matters
- Manage industry related agreement (NDA, RCA, MOUs )
- Grow industry revenue for the Automation Division and SIMTech
