Review and interpret all relevant drawings, specifications and reports;
Handle full scope of Quantity Surveyor duties which includes material take-off and variations i.e. Structural works; Piping works; Electrical and Instrumental works; Mechanical and Equipment works; Painting works
Able to understand the Project contract documents and inform and assist site team for the cost estimate for any additional works
Prepare the commercial tenders, including material take-off, preparation of BQs and technical queries
Analyse tender pricing and prepare contractors’ bill of quantities
Manage all related stakeholder liaison activities with a range of interested parties i.e. contractors, subcontractors, consultants and authorities on the project including but not limited to Contracts & Legal Department, Engineering Department and External Consultants;
Prepare monthly progress claims to client
Manage subcontractor and vendor claims
Manage project timeline and cost
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quantity Survey, Engineering (Mechanical/Civil).
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the oil and gas industry and familiar with EPC projects
Meticulous, analytical, eye for details and a good team player
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Prior experience in leading a Quantity Surveyor team will be advantageous and can be considered for a senior role.
Able to commence on short notice will be preferred
