What You'll Do

• Lead and manage procurement activities for telecommunications equipment, corporate gifts, and other key categories.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for network, IT, retail, and marketing projects.
• Spearhead major projects from RFP to delivery, ensuring optimal supplier evaluation and selection.
• Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring top-tier service and annual performance evaluations.
• Analyze CAPEX trends, inventory control, and propose cost-saving measures.
• Provide regular procurement updates to senior management through detailed reporting and dashboards.
• Stay vigilant about contractual matters and mitigate potential risks effectively.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful incumbent will be involved in a full suite of Procurement functions, support in identifying cost-saving opportunities, optimize processes and identify potential areas of risk through strong business acumen and analytical skills. This is a sole contributor role.

The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

1. Manage and lead procurement activities for supplies and services from vendors.
2. Partner with stakeholders to source projects across key categories (e.g. Network, IT, retail, marketing).
3. Familiar with equipment requirements in Radio Access Network, Transmission and IT Infrastructure.
4. Lead the competitive sourcing process, initiate requests for information, quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms.
5. Lead major projects from RFP to delivery, including supplier evaluation and award.
6. Execute all contractual matters of assigned projects and ensure that they are dealt with effectively.
7. Manage vendor relationships and conduct annual evaluations,
8. Monitor and analysis trends in CAPEX spending and Inventory control and make recommendations to identify areas for efficiencies and drive savings.
9. Oversee procurement reporting (e.g., dashboards, spend analysis).
10. Regularly update senior management on procurement activities and initiatives.
11. Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

1. The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:
2. At least 4-6 years’ working experience in strategic sourcing procurement in the Telco industry and familiar with mobile telecommunications network equipment.
3. Good educational background, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Economics or Business Administration.
4. Strong negotiation skill.
5. Resourceful in sourcing.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
7. Good verbal and written communication skills.
8. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
9. Able to work as a team across the company.
