Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for purchasing, logistics, and production planning.
- Review requested items for requisition and liaise with Supervisors/Projects Team to determine the material's suitability and identify and track overdue requests.
- Manage Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order.
- Obtain/source for product alternatives.
- Ensure items purchased are received on time to meet projects/customers' schedules and according to specifications.
- Responsible for sourcing and negotiation.
- Prepare purchase forecast planning.
- Ensure sufficient items are bought into the warehouse to support Sales and Production.
- Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude and develop this attitude in others.
- Responsible for logistics arrangement.
- Perform any other tasks and duties delegated by the Supervisor or Management.
Key Performance Expectations:
- Ensure cost, quality, and delivery across all Purchase functions.
- Take preventive action to avoid material shortages that will impact the production plan.
Job Requirements:
- A Level/Diploma in mechanical engineering.
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in purchasing and production planning.
- SAP knowledge preferred, PC literate and proficient in MS Office application.
