Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements workshops to engage the various stakeholders such as Front Office users to elicit and validate business requirements.

Required Experience

1. Education – Bachelors or higher degree preferably in Business and/or Computer Science

2. At least 5-6 years working as a Business Analyst.

3. Possess strong Treasury knowledge, with expertise in at least one asset class.

4. Must be organized, able to work with minimal supervision, flexible to switch and work on different projects and manage them in a timely manner.

5. Has experience working in projects on Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc) and/or waterfall methodology.

6. Drawing of process flow diagrams to identify existing problems and exploring opportunities.

7. Experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, test plan and test scenarios.

8. Experience in documenting and explaining business scenarios and produce functional specifications.

9. Basic Data Analytics using Excel and/or SQL, including but not limited to, data fetching, data joints, data wrangling, use of correct charts for different data visualization. Ability to explain what the data is telling you.

10. Root-cause analysis.

The Application Development Manager is responsible for leading a team of system analyst and developers, managing the system development, implementation and support of Cards related applications on the mainframe platform with overall accountability

• Responsible for end-to-end software development and support. This includes pre-project initiation, impact analysis, functional specifications to development, implementation, testing and support.

• Responsible for the understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level.

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide consultation on solution and technology.

• Manage or lead a team of System Analyst and developers to implement solution that meet business requirements and are in alignment with organization's business objectives.

• Manage the application setup and deployment components

• Manage development issues and escalations

• Work with vendor to ensure product deliveries are timely and good quality.

• Manage budget coming from different projects.

• Hands on manager to guide team on functional and technical issues

Technical Skills & Experience

• At least 12 years of experience in application development and maintenance with full software development life cycle experience

• Hands-on experience on cards application domain on a mainframe platform.

• Significant domain knowledge in Cards and Payments.

• Strong delivery and project management experience in implementing large scale, highly available applications for the financial services/banking sector

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven results-oriented person with a focus on delivery

• Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders

• Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills

Job Duties & responsibilities

• Strong involvement in the full system development life cycle (SDLC) by performing research/ analysis, providing functional specifications/ design, developing modules, performing unit testing, system integration testing / user acceptance testing, implementing modules, providing post implementation support.
• Provides first level support for FX applications and BAUs.
• Involved and participate in Regional Disaster Recovery (RDR) Exercise
• Maintains proper documentation for all projects and issues handled
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related task/s which may be assigned to him/ her.

Required Experience

• Candidate should have min 6 years of technical skills in AS400, Open System, Control-M skillset.
• Experience in Treasury Systems (FX Trading Platforms/Margin Trading/Bullion and Futures)
• Knowledgeable in routers, handlers, data queues
• Experience in ClearCase, ClearQuest, JIRA, Aldon.
• Prefer those with financial/banking experience
• Works independently, anticipates and handles critical situations
• Has a strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Shift work is required
