Job Duties & responsibilities

• Strong involvement in the full system development life cycle (SDLC) by performing research/ analysis, providing functional specifications/ design, developing modules, performing unit testing, system integration testing / user acceptance testing, implementing modules, providing post implementation support.
• Provides first level support for FX applications and BAUs.
• Involved and participate in Regional Disaster Recovery (RDR) Exercise
• Maintains proper documentation for all projects and issues handled
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related task/s which may be assigned to him/ her.

Required Experience

• Candidate should have min 6 years of technical skills in AS400, Open System, Control-M skillset.
• Experience in Treasury Systems (FX Trading Platforms/Margin Trading/Bullion and Futures)
• Knowledgeable in routers, handlers, data queues
• Experience in ClearCase, ClearQuest, JIRA, Aldon.
• Prefer those with financial/banking experience
• Works independently, anticipates and handles critical situations
• Has a strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Shift work is required

Job description

The Business Analyst - Business Lead will work closely with traders and sales in FX, Interest Rate Swaps, Credit, Structured Products and Equity Derivatives to understand their functional requirements in order to implement the best fit technology solutions for T&M. This requires a combination of communication skills, strategic vision and understanding of technology, data flows, product knowledge, pre and post trading workflows and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Understand trading and sales desk needs and develop strong business case and justification
• Act as the intermediary between front office, technology and project management teams to lead initiatives and change programs
• Analyse business process flows, create workflow diagrams and document business requirements
• Develop UAT test cases, test scenarios and execute the test plan
• Facilitate business review and decisions/approvals of functional specifications.
• Work closely with program management / project management teams to help deliver end to end solutioning.
• Collate and manage all the details regarding the application for the assigned business vertical - information could span from details of systems interfacing, content of the various data being posted, data held within the application etc.
• Support user community on business queries and guidance on better usage of the system on daily BAU activities.
• Clear understanding the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment. Clearly document the rationale for projects where no impact is assessed.
• For project where there is an impact, play a governance role in ensuring that the design (in terms of the level of information required from source to core processing is aligned with the strategic data flow strategy.
• Collate and rationalise all stakeholders’ requirements and walkthrough these requirements with team
• Actively partnering with the team in the solutioning process to ensure that the business solutions being implemented are thought through from a long term, standardization, design for no operations, front-end configuration perspective.
• Assess and propose appropriate testing approach and sign off criteria to stakeholders and get concurrence.
• Overall UAT management in terms of UAT timeline, batch run/ re-run and managing the tester’s testing result.
• Prepare proper documentation on the data flow, design, business solutioning and testing approach in accordance with predefined template.
