Job responsibilities

1. Partner closely with Operations users, Business, Tech and external vendor consultants to deliver on strategic platform upgrade program

2. Provide Project management support to the program on behalf of Operations. Create and deliver project communications to multiple stakeholders, which includes running governance calls and preparing presentation materials/decks for committee meetings, etc

3. Work with operations users, business stakeholders, fellow business analysts, tech and vendor consultant for functional design and solutioning

4. Work closely with Operation users, Tech teams and participate in design/build discussions

5. Develop testing approach, scope and plan with Operation users and vendor test team

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Technology

2. 5+ years experience in financial industry including credit card processing, chargeback or fraud analysis

3. 3-5 years of operations or project management experience

4. Experience with VisionPlus application will be beneficial

5. Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio

6. Strong communication and analytical/problem solving skills

7. Excellent attention to detail to manage daily operations with strong organization and time management skills

8. Ability to lead and participate in multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to re-prioritization in a rapidly changing environment

Responsibilities

Analyse, develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, test applications

• Responsible to identify, analyse and documentation of User Stories / User Journeys based on the business requirements document

Job Objectives

A Functional Business Analyst is responsible for working with business and tech to deliver projects spanning multiple business units. Delivering projects covering entire project SDLC lifecycle to meet business ask while adhering to Bank’s guidelines.

Manage scope, issues, risks, dependencies and project change will be core competencies to the role.

The Functional Business Analyst must have extensive knowledge in the retail credit risk domain and excellence stakeholder management capability with an eye for detail.

Expertise in system migration for credit origination, collection, credit portfolio management, and provisioning is preferred.

▪ Review Test Strategy, help plan and support the user acceptance testing and help address any issues.

▪ Ensures that there is a business perspective on how the new operations and technical capabilities will be delivered to the business.

▪ Spot potential problems, recognize the risk impact and propose risk mitigation strategies.

Key Requirements

▪ System migration experience for banking system in relation to Retail Credit products, Credit Risk, Operations, Process and operating models

▪ Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent

▪ Demonstrated 5-10 years of experience in project management/business analysis in credit subject area

▪ Familiar with change management processes and project management fundamentals

▪ Understanding of technology and operational processes across functions / departments in the banks

▪ Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus

▪ Direct responsibility of project budgets of $5 - $15 million dollars
