Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team in Trade Finance domain (Onshore/Offshore)
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment across APAC region

Project Management:

• Plan, execute, monitor, and complete application development project in Trade Finance domain
• Manage project issues, risks, and budgets effectively
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestone and final deliverables.

System Integration:

• Oversee the integration of in-house/vendor-provided application with regional peripheral systems
• Rollout Global solution/Regional solution provided by HO or other regions
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues

Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare and present reports on project progress, issues, and risks
• Act at the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in system integration and project management
• Stay updated with industry trend and best practice

Maintenance

• Regularly monitor system performance, system usage, and resource consumption and take preventive measures before issues arise
• Act as the primary point of contact for any technical issues or bugs reported by users and coordinate to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
• Apply security patches for vulnerabilities and updates to keep system up to date
• Plan and execute regular updates and upgrades to the application to ensure it remains current and secure, managing EOL/EOS for Hardware and Software
• Provide on-going support to users, addressing their queries and concerns
• Consider the introduction of new technologies and tools, and plan system upgrade.
• Liaise with the relevant teams including vendors to investigate reported issues/problem, identify root cause/impact, implement workaround and fixes to resolve issue.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and change logs
• Ensure the application complies with all relevant regulatory and security standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related field
• 15+ Years of experience with specialization on Trade Finance implementations, with exposure to methodologies and frameworks for IT project management
• Strong understanding of trade finance processes, including export/import, bank guarantees, and supply chain finance
• Experience with CGI T360/TPS trade finance product
• In addition to knowledge of Trade Finance, knowledge of syndication loans and experience with Finastra LoanIQ is even preferred if you have
• Knowledge in Java/J2EE platform, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, IBM WAS, DB2, MQ and IIB would be an advantage
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and exposure to Agile methodology
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams or offshore team
• Strong communication skill to liaise with stakeholders, team members, and products vendors
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and possess drive, and ability to work independently and a good team player

- Provide investigation support, track and monitor of reported customer issues escalated from frontliners.

- Ensure reported issues are resolved timely, and any critical issues are timely escalated /communicated to stakeholders.

Job Objectives

We are presently seeking candidate for the position of Technical Delivery Manager, who can also support Domain Architect functionality.

This role is to engage in various projects for strategizing the solution and perform impact assessments for Finance Technology Systems.

Job Responsibility

• Working closely with stakeholders to develop practical domain roadmaps to move the enterprise towards the future state vision, while taking into account business, technical and delivery constraints

• Analyzing stakeholder requirements, current state architecture, and gaps to create a future state architecture vision for one or more parts of the enterprise with a focus on reduced complexity, cost efficiencies, reuse, reduced risk and/or improved business capabilities

• Reviewing application design, problem ticket and incident to propose short term and long term resolution to fit with the domain roadmap

• Guiding and challenge the project on architecture and design decision

• Governing the technical debt of the domain

• Reviewing non-functional requirement and proposed architecture changes to anticipate evolving non-functional requirements

• Developing architecture principles and standards

• Communicating the principles, standards, vision and roadmaps to stakeholders and proactively addressing any questions / concerns identified

• Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in both business and IT to assist in defining and delivering high quality solutions
