The successful candidate shall take on the role of a Data Governance Specialist and

support Risk Management Group Data Steward on managing Data Quality, Data Discoverability,

Data Ownership and Data Access, covering the following:

(i) facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams towards tangible data quality improvements

(ii) ensure issues raised in Data Issues Log in SG and overseas locations are properly followed up, status reported and resolved within expected timelines

(iii) define critical data attributes and data quality requirements

(iv) ensure fitness of data for operational and strategic use

(v) drive and enable cross-collaboration with RMG units on Data Governance matters

Job duties and responsibilities:

1. Host regular RMG Data Quality forums (including preparation of meeting materials) and represent RMG at Group level Data Issue meetings

2. Organize cross-department discussions to drive and resolve data issues

3. Work with RMG stakeholders to review and improve data quality monitoring reports and processes

4. Participate in data ownership discussion and follow-ups

5. Assist in review and setup of data access for users

6. Drive data management related reviews, such as BCBS239 annual reviews.

Requirements

a. Good knowledge of data quality principles

b. Proven experience in data issue management and data profiling

c. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

d. Strong communication skills with the ability to understand, simplify and explain complex data issues

e. Skilled in preparing effective and well-structured presentations with clear narratives and data analysis to varied audience

f. Thrives in a fast-paced, high intensity and ambiguous environment and possess a high level of intellectual curiosity

g. Demonstrated ability to thrive with minimal oversight, understand business needs and independently drive initiatives and cross functional engagements forward

h. Technical skills: SQL, Python

What is the role about: The candidate will have the opportunity to be a part of the Investment Product Team as we embark on a transformation journey.

The duties and responsibilities would be to provide assistance/support to product managers to better run day to day business related tasks

Key Deliverable needed from the candidate:

1. Business momentum tracking:

• Financial results seen daily

• Sales and channel dashboards

• Incentive reports

• Client campaign reports

• Adhoc data extraction

2. Content and Information maintenance:

• Investment performance and Market monitor updates

• Training support for Front office colleagues

• Internal and external website updates

3. Business Support:

• Bond and Equity availability list and blotters

• Trail income reconciliation tasks

• Billing claims to be raised to external parties

• Assistance on running internal and external client events to promote Investment solutions

• Perform competitor analysis

• Any other data related requirement

Skill set and attitude required:

• Good at excel and data understanding – must have intermediate. Advanced MS office skills

(Excel, VBA, word, Powerpoint)

• Able to automate tasks to achieve efficiency on execution

• Willing to learn fast and adapt/ contribute to a wide range of product solutions

• Self-motivated team players and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• MS Office Skills (Excel, Words, PowerPoint) is required

• Meticulous individual
