A. Clouet (Singapore) is the local distribution company of Maison Denis in Singapore. Incorporated in 1979, the company’s principal activities consist of the import and distribution of Ayam Brand, Alce Nero, Duchef and several other brands in Singapore. With a strong distribution network in Singapore, you can find Ayam Brand and a wide variety of other products distributed by A. Clouet in all supermarket chains, convenience stores, e-commerce platforms, general retail outlets and foodservice channels.

Responsibilities
· Lead, manage, and motivate a team of merchandisers to ensure consistent execution of merchandising standards in stores.
· Train and develop the merchandising team to improve their skills and ensure the highest standards in product placement and display.
· Set clear objectives, track performance, and provide regular feedback to merchandisers.
· Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve the team’s effectiveness in driving sales and brand visibility.
· Conduct regular visits to supermarket chains, ensuring that products are well-stocked, properly displayed, in line with company standards.
· Identify opportunities for improving product placement and visibility to enhance customer experience and sales.
· Work with store managers to optimize product displays, ensuring products are presented attractively and positioned to drive sales.
· Build strong relationships and leverage excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to secure additional short to long terms display space within stores.
· Monitor sales performance in supermarkets and report key metrics to senior management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
· Analyse sales data to assess the effectiveness of merchandising strategies and promotional activities.
· Provide feedback and actionable insights to the sales and marketing teams for the refinement of campaigns and product launches.
· Lead initiatives to improve the operational efficiency and overall performance of supermarket locations.
· Ensure timely execution of promotional campaigns and new product launches in supermarkets.
· Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align strategies for in-store activation and visibility.
· Monitor the effectiveness of these campaigns and suggest improvements based on store visits and performance data.
· Monitor product rotation and expiration dates, ensuring compliance with quality standards
Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in operations management, merchandising or sales within the FMCG or retail sector.
· Strong understanding of supermarket operations, including product placement, merchandising and sales analysis.
· Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team environment
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
· Strong organizational skills & able to multi-task
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills
