Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers and overseas offices and keep the customer informed on shipment status
- Prepare quotations and submit to customers
- Understand customer requirements
- Follow standard operating procedures
- Achieve a positive success rate of quotations submitted
- Handle cross trades
- Develop customers / gain new customers
- Calling of customers for customer maintenance and reporting in the CRM system
- Cooperate with the operations department to ensure that customer expectations are fulfilled by operations
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and customer service minded
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry within customer service areas, preferably with food & beverage exposure
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows
- Driven to grow the business for the company
- Good teamwork
- Training will be provided
