Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating the functionality of systems and equipment during the commissioning phase of a project. Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting system commissioning activities such as loop checks, functional tests, trouble shooting and system integration.
• Verifying equipment performance against design specifications and preparing detailed reports on findings.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address and resolve commissioning-related issues.
• Ensuring all commissioning activities comply with safety standards and project requirements.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of commissioning progress and outcomes.
• Installation, termination, and testing of cables, along with ensuring compliance with Inspection Test Records (ITRs).
• Performing cable terminations for power, control, and instrumentation systems according to wiring diagrams and project standards.
• Conducting cable integrity tests, such as continuity and insulation resistance testing (megger tests).
• Completing and maintaining ITR documentation to record all installation and testing activities.
• Inspecting cable installations to ensure they meet design and safety requirements.
• Collaborating with engineers and QA/QC teams to address any discrepancies found during testing.
