• Work on projects of various scales and types, ranging from Master planning, to urban design, architecture and interior design.
• Work on multiple complex projects simultaneously on concept design, schematic design, detail design and urban design guidelines
• Prepare drawings, diagrams and sketches including 3D perspectives,
• Prepare projects presentations and reports
• Review, analyse and summarise reports, documents and data
• Perform research and case studies
• Attend meetings and prepare meeting minutes and required documentation
• Attend site visits, prepare site analysis and document observations
• Assist in workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Co-ordinate work with design team, sub-consultants and specialists and liaise well with clients’ representatives.
• Collaborate with team members and consultants

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design management of the assigned project, such as to assist the Project Director and Project Manager to formulate project schedule and budget plan; as well as to ensure the project is implemented as approved and scheduled;
• Responsible for the resource management of the assigned projects, such as to assist the Project Director and Project Manager in organizing design team to promote and complete the assigned tasks;
• Responsible for the quality management of the assigned projects, such as to assist the Project Director and Project Manager to create and communicate clear and attainable project objectives and project requirements, to manage the quality of project deliverables and final results;
• Responsible for the production management of the assigned projects, such as to produce drawings, presentation materials, design reports, and other relevant documents which are required as day-to-day design process and deliverables as per contracts of the assigned projects;
• Responsible for the client management to establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships.
• Responsible to creatively interpret design briefs to create concept, schematic and detailed designs and construction documentation to an international standard

What you’ll do:

• Conceptualize concept and schematic designs for softscape and hardscape, including construction stage.
• Experienced in nursery visits with understanding on plant and shrub species in Singapore
• Negotiate with contractors on design requirements and building progress.
• Oversee progress of on-site work; ensure project is built according to design plans and resolve any issues that may arise
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to make sure that the building plans meet the necessary building standards.
• Lead landscape architecture design and execution for high profile projects, provide design directions to the project teams and control design quality.
• Responsible for financial management of the project, ensure key deadlines are met and staff are working together effectively; Lead design in a holistic process-oriented approach based on a contemporary innovative methodology from the vision to build works;
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard landscape architecture design techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Play a key role in client and government management and keep positive feedback and satisfaction; Confer with clients regarding design schemes and implementation.
• Develop solutions that effectively address the social, legal and economic implications of the physical form
