AECOM undertakes design works for major geotechnical/tunnel projects. When such on-going projects are available at the design stage, the students would be engaged works related to analysis/design on geotechnical engineering/related structural engineering design/analysis to assist engineers in the design process, depending on available of such works. While they are engaged in assisting the engineers, they are trained on the aspect of design works in which they are involved.
Depending on the availability of projects, they may be rotated among a few projects. When on-going projects are available at the construction stage, students would be given opportunity for site visit and learn about construction techniques.
Students should have basic understanding and knowledge on engineering knowledge on Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering pertaining to Reinforced Concrete & Steel.
