- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for semiconductor equipment and test socket products to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
- Identify key markets, potential customers, and opportunities for business development.
- Create and maintain a sales pipeline of prospective customers.
- Drive negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers within semiconductor companies.
- Provide technical expertise and consultative support to customers to ensure proper product selection and use.
- Gather customer feedback and communicate market needs to the product development teams.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive products, and customer needs within the semiconductor industry.
- Analyse competitors and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with Engineering, R&D, and Product Management Teams to align product offerings with customer requirements.
- Partner with marketing teams to develop effective campaigns and promotional activities for new products.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and post-sales support.
- Prepare sales forecasts and regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and product trends.
- Provide feedback to management on market demands and suggest potential product improvements or new offerings.
Qualifications:
- At least Diploma in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field (a technical degree is often preferred).
- 5+ years of sales experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, test sockets, or related products.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong technical understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Negotiation and contract management expertise.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex technical information.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales analytics software.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 50%).
