JOB DESCRIPTION
- To lead the education and training initiatives for Premium, Midscale and Economy for Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific with the objective of focusing on the entire life cycle of performance management, embedding effective processes, becoming a system subject matter expert, and ensuring regional alignment in collaboration with Talent and Culture Leaders and Business Partners
- To be responsible for collection and quality control of Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific Talent Review and Talent Cards for hotels and offices for Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific
RESPONSIBILITIIES
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on performance management tailored to the needs of hotels within the region.
- Conduct workshops and regular training sessions to enhance leader and Heartist understanding and implementation of performance management practices
PROCESS EMBEDDING
- Standardize and embed consistent performance management processes across all hotels.
- Ensure adherence to established performance management frameworks and policies.
- Promote best practices in performance management and operational efficiency.
SYSTEM SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE
- Become the regional expert on performance management systems, ensuring their optimum use.
- Train Heartist and leaders on system functionalities, updates and best practices.
- Stay current with technological advancements and incorporate them into training programs.
REGIONAL ALIGNMENT
- Work closely with Talent and Culture Leaders and Business Partners to align timing and processes across the region.
- Ensure synchronization of performance management activities to maintain regional consistency.
- Regularly assess regional needs and adjust training programs to address these requirements effectively.
STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION
- Collaborate with regional managers, hotel management teams, and other stakeholders to identify performance management needs.
- Foster strong relationships to ensure successful implementation of performance management initiatives.
- Collect feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness and process adherence.
PERFORMANCE MONITORING & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Track and assess the impact of performance management training and processes.
- Use data insights to refine training programs and drive continuous improvement in performance management practices.
- Maintain high performance standards and consistency across all hotels in the region.
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT SURVEY
- In partnership with Digital Talent Solutions team, conduct webinars and provide resources to successfully implement employee engagement and farewell surveys in corporate office and hotels, following central guidelines on timing.
- Communicate and coordinate with various departments to ensure adherence to survey protocols.
- Become subject matter expert in the employee engagement survey system with support from the Digital Talent Solutions team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (Preferred); specializing in Human Resources or Business Administration or any related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in performance management, specifically within the hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of performance management life cycle including Talent Management platform and tools.
- Strong knowledge of Employee Engagement Survey process, platform and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Great presentation skills to disseminate information to a wide audience.
