The Quality Technician, Product Quality is responsible for product release of complete instrument and play key role in ensuring the released instrument is meeting quality and regulatory requirements.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, PQE and is part of the QARA team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform outgoing product release (Device History Records buy-off) and inspection on instruments according to documented procedures.
• Perform part tracking for install and complaint issues. Ensure part is being received so failure analysis can be initiated.
• Support in complaint investigation activities. The job also require work with cross functional team and ensure proper investigation records is generated.

The essential requirements of the job include

• Diploma/ ITE in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience in QA is required.
• Knowledge of the following QMS standards - ISO9001 QMS, ISO13485 QMS and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 is strongly

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in performing product release activity for medical equipment’s.

The Assistant Engineer, Production Process Support is responsible for running engineering evaluations, collecting and compiling of data with simple analysis, and part measurements. The incumbent will also manage change order (CO) activities as well as non-conformance part movements.

This position reports to the Production Process Support Manager and is part of the Manufacturing Engineering department located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

The Principal Engineer, Supplier Quality is responsible for driving Quality performance of the suppliers to meet Sciex Product Quality requirements through supplier qualification processes, supplier control processes, aligned with supplier management strategies.

This position reports to the Senior Manager Supplier Quality and is part of the QARA team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Drive improvement of quality performance of suppliers and support NPD/NPI project, ensure resolution of the issues identified in NPI.
• Lead supplier qualification activities for new suppliers with Global Sourcing & Global Supply Chain.
• Plan and execute periodic audits at suppliers' site to ensure suppliers' QMS is meeting ISO standards, IPC standards, FDA QSR (GMP) and compliance to agreed process control plans
• Monitor supplier performance, review periodic quality data/reports/scorecards and related action plans
• Drive resolution of complex material quality issues by deep diving suppliers' root cause analysis and by working with suppliers to monitor corrective action and facilitating with internal support where required.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering with of 5-8 years related experience in Supplier Quality Management, Process Engineering is preferred
• In Depth knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes, familiar with IPC 610 standards
• Demonstrated experience on the performance of audits, lead-auditor certification preferred
• Familiar with problem solving tools such as 5 why root cause analysis, and Quality tools such as DFM, PFMEA, GR&R, Control Plan, SPC.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 will be added advantage

Travel Requirements:

• Ability to travel – 20-30%, and maybe travel on short notice

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Managing suppliers including supplier evaluation and supplier performance
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing operations and quality system practices in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical company is preferred

Are you looking to use your knowledge and experience to empower our customers to solve the most impactful analytical challenges in quantitation and characterization?

The Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for setting up an efficient manufacturing test process by developing procedures (automated testing) to test mass spectrometer instruments and improving First Pass Yield continuously to meet the organization objectives. You will gain new product knowledge of mass spectrometer in theory and practical as well as enhancing your technical competency in engineering fields.

This position is part of the Manufacturing Engineering Department and will be located in Marsiling Industrial Estate, Singapore.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop the commissioning and final tests procedures (automated testing) to meet system requirements.
• Improve and modify manufacturing test software.
• Apply Problem Solving Process to define problem statements, investigate to root causes, verify countermeasures and ensure sustainment.
• Improve the First Pass Yield and parts DPPM failures in Manufacturing.
• Assist instrument installation escalation calls in the field through site visit/remote access if required.
• Expand PCBA troubleshooting skills to detect defective Electrical/Electronics components.
• Perform First Article Evaluation of Electrical/Electronic parts and software.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience working in ISO 13485 manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Hands on experience in using measuring equipment like digital multimeter, oscilloscope, function generators, etc. during his/her university studies.
• Understand PCBA manufacturing process, able to read the PCBA schematic diagram and perform troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge in analog and digital electronics is desired.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel to North America for 1-2 months during project.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 10kg daily.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• IPC-610 on Printed Circuit Board Assemble manufacturing process
• Operation and Application on mass spectrometer instruments
