The Quality Technician, Product Quality is responsible for product release of complete instrument and play key role in ensuring the released instrument is meeting quality and regulatory requirements.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, PQE and is part of the QARA team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform outgoing product release (Device History Records buy-off) and inspection on instruments according to documented procedures.
• Perform part tracking for install and complaint issues. Ensure part is being received so failure analysis can be initiated.
• Support in complaint investigation activities. The job also require work with cross functional team and ensure proper investigation records is generated.

The essential requirements of the job include

• Diploma/ ITE in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience in QA is required.
• Knowledge of the following QMS standards - ISO9001 QMS, ISO13485 QMS and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 is strongly

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in performing product release activity for medical equipment’s.

Purpose of this role:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

• Scope Assembler
• Perform a wide variety of mechanical, electronic or electromechanical assembly operations on high precision instrument,
• Follow methods and sequence of operations in performing cable routing, electronics installation and mechanical assembly
• Perform assembly and testing on very small precision parts (100 ~ 500 um), which requires the use of microscope, tweezers and not micro scale fixtures
• Provide feedback to support groups for improvement in sequencing or assembly method
• Trained and generate NCR’s from assembly related area
• Assembly and quality of work
• Put empty bins kanban card into the collection of Kanban Board
• Diagnose (if required with support groups) and perform rework on assemblies
• Work in production improvement projects as assigned
• Meet cycle time as defined in the cell playbook
• Responsible to execute per the instructions of supervisor/lead
• Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines
• Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics preferred with 1 year of relevant work experience or 5 years relevant working experience in manufacturing environment
• Good spoken and written English
• Good electro-mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and strong troubleshooting skills
• Strong team skills, good communication skills and attention to detail are required
• Recent graduates with no experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
