The Senior Director, Global Supply Chain Management is responsible for leading the SCIEX Global Supply Chain Management function strategically and operationally so that the current and future business requirements and key performance indicators are met.

This position is part of the SCIEX Global Operations team and will be located in Marsiling Industrial Estate, Singapore.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and lead global strategies and continuously improve our global processes for Planning, Sourcing, Materials Management and Logistics.
• Lead and develop our teams globally that run aforementioned processes, ensuring within Danaher best-in-class service and performance is provided to our customers and that we are the Employer of Choice to our team members.
• Lead and continuously develop SCIEX Sales and Operations Planning processes globally and collaborate with all impacting and impacted stakeholders.
• Own and lead the delivery on key performance indicators like On-Time Delivery, Inventory Turns, Cost efficiencies in Materials, Cycle Time and Quality.
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with key work partners internally and externally like Suppliers, Sales, Service, Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering.
• Represent Sciex Global Supply Chain networking with Danaher Business Systems office, Danaher Procurement and Supply Chain and with peers in the other Operating Companies within Danaher.
• Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Degree in relevant discipline (eg Engineering, Logistics), preferably with a Master’s Degree in Business
• At least 15 years of solid manufacturing operations managerial experience.
• Excellent Global Supply Chain management experience (planning, purchasing, transportation, warehouse logistics)
• In-depth knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Standard Work, TPI, Kaizen, Problem Solving etc.)

Travel Requirements:

• Ability to travel - at least 15% of the time domestically to supplier locations and/or overseas to the US, Canada, APAC or EMEA regions.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Working in a global matrix organization with direct & indirect reporting relationships.
• Excellent skills & knowledge in managing global teams (direct & indirect reports).
• Proven success in global cross-functional collaboration.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Understand business needs and stay updated with industry trends to drive innovation in hardware design.
• Identify and address technological challenges and opportunities in hardware development. Thereafter apply scientific principles to solve complex hardware challenges and advance technological boundaries.
• Conceptualize and conduct advanced research to investigate new hardware technologies and methodologies. Thereafter creating and refining hardware designs based on research findings, develop prototypes and experimental setups to validate new concepts and technologies.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• PhD / M.Sc. / Bachelors’ Degree in Physics / Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in hardware research and new product development environment.
• Advance knowledge in related field such as real-time UV detection / source and Microfluidic Chip technologies will be preferred.
• Good knowledge with precision injection and fluidic control, Injections Electrokinetic and / or Electrospray ionization will be an advantage.
• Experience with Laser Induced Fluorescence will be an added advantage.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• The position requires traveling to company locations, customer sites and industry events in US, Canada, Europe, Japan, and China. The successful candidate should be prepared to travel up to 20% of the time.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Technologies such as electrophoresis sodium dodecyl sulfate (CE-SDS), ribonucleic acid (RNA) analysis and / or glycan characterization analysis.
• Capillary isoelectric focusing (cIEF) and imaged capillary isoelectric focusing (icIEF) will be an added advantage.

Are you looking at using your knowledge and experience to help develop and maintain automated test fixture to support design and build instrumentation for scientists of tomorrow?

The Test Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. The incumbent also prepares test and diagnostic plans/programs and infrastructure, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. He/she also plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. The incumbent can look forward to gaining new knowledge of automated test equipment design as well as enhancing their technical competency in engineering fields.

This position is part of the Manufacturing Engineering department and will be located in Marsiling, Singapore.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop new in process functional tests to aid in debug and diagnosis of various functional modules within a MS/LC/CE instrument. Developed solutions will be used to perform fault isolation for faulty or intermittent modules.
• Learn and understand test requirements and test methodologies for various functional modules. Develop test code using Labview, CVI or TestStand for Value Engineering projects to characterize, verify and validate the design.
• Ensure PCBA module testability through development, qualification and release to manufacturing for VAVE (Value Analysis Value Engineering) projects.
• Review failure data, improve coverage through fixture upgrade or redesign/Review First Pass Yield data from suppliers, analyze ‘no fault found’ modules and perform root cause analysis to upgrade tests
• Test software and hardware development to improve PCBA test coverage.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Computer Engineering with 1~2 years of relevant experience
• Good track record of successful test program or firmware development using Labview and TestStand
• Hands-on test lab experience configuring lab equipment for testing.
• Experience in design collaboration with suppliers
• Familiar with statistical tools for problem solving

Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to have night calls with North America for 1~2 time per week
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment load of up to 10kg daily

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Director, Talent Acquisition will play a critical role in using various recruiting strategies and deploying TA services for a region. You’ll design and implement strategies to create a diverse talent pipeline, lead a recruiting deployment team, and advise clients to fulfill the business recruiting needs.

• Create and implement a recruiting strategy for assigned region: Define and implement the TA strategy, including attraction strategies for recruiting, sourcing, and pipelining critical talent. Provide support for restructuring, growth projects and M&A activities.
• Partner with Talent Management and HR on pipeline growth initiatives.
• Serve as TA Business Partner to specified Platform; consulting with business and HR leaders to understand the recruiting demand, gathering VOC, educating them on talent trends, and sharing key performance metrics and insights
• Manage headcount and capacity across team. Implement strategy for use of RPO and other vendors to augment regional TA services. Drive operational rigor and performance with vendors.
• Lead operational rigor through mature utilization of DBS to drive team performance and process improvements.
• Create and implement diversity recruiting strategies, including assessing talent gaps, understanding funnel data, identifying countermeasures, and implementing action plans (partner organizations, ARG involvement, brand channels, campaigns)
• Apply available framework and tools to activate employer brand in region
• Onboard new team members, coach and develop for current and future roles, complete people management tasks (P4G, D4G, compensation planning)

Preferred Background and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience leading teams; experience as a leader of people leaders preferred
• Depth of professional experience working within an in-house Talent Acquisition model working across multiple countries
• Authentic leader and good coach; previous success with scaling a talent team preferred
• Experience and facility working in a lean /continuous improvement culture, with a track record of utilizing proven methodologies as a business practice.

Purpose of this role:

• Scope Assembler
• Perform a wide variety of mechanical, electronic or electromechanical assembly operations on high precision instrument,
• Follow methods and sequence of operations in performing cable routing, electronics installation and mechanical assembly
• Perform assembly and testing on very small precision parts (100 ~ 500 um), which requires the use of microscope, tweezers and not micro scale fixtures
• Provide feedback to support groups for improvement in sequencing or assembly method
• Trained and generate NCR’s from assembly related area
• Assembly and quality of work
• Put empty bins kanban card into the collection of Kanban Board
• Diagnose (if required with support groups) and perform rework on assemblies
• Work in production improvement projects as assigned
• Meet cycle time as defined in the cell playbook
• Responsible to execute per the instructions of supervisor/lead
• Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines
• Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned
