Position Overview: Accountant
We are seeking an experienced accountant to prepare financial reports, perform bank reconciliations, and conduct cyclical audits. The role also involves recording sales transactions, preparing invoices, and providing support for ad-hoc requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a full set of accounts.
- Manage general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Handle day-to-day operations for accounts payable, expenses, and accounts receivable.
- Submit quarterly GST returns.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management.
- Prepare year-end accounts closing submissions and schedules for external auditors.
- Handle monthly payroll, CPF submissions, and yearly IR8A submissions.
- Ensure proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Manage inventory control.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance or certifications such as LCCI, CTA, or ACCA.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin.
