General information

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for executing Service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines.

Reporting to Service Manager, you will be delivering quality customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.

Service Delivery

• Execute after sales business activity preventive & condition based maintenance, trouble-shooting, repairs and commissioning.
• Actively coordinate with operation supervisors for optimal service potentials from regular customer interactions.
• Proactively involve in self learning and practical exposure for continuous competence and productivity improvement.
• Maintain high level of personal leadership on safety and quality on work performed as well as documentations.
• Reports early any technical/contract/quality/program/cost issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution.

Your background

• Diploma, ITC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics engineering with at least 3 years hands on repair and service experience on electrical equipment.
• Experience on LV & MV VFD will be an advantage
• Strong electrical or electronics engineering fundamental knowledge. Knowledge on theory, structure, application, testing methodology and component fault diagnosis/analysis will be added advantage.
• Strong self-discipline with initiative and learning spirit with positive attitude, team work and responsibility.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Accountable for total Cobot sales in the SEA/Oceania/Middle East/Africa (SOMA).
• Open new channels and sell to distributors, Cobot experts, and small machine builders.
• Support and grow Cobot know-how within new channels.
• Manage and evaluate performance of distributors and new channels.
• Conduct Cobot demonstrations for customers.
• Assist sales teams with Cobot presentations and proposals.
• Promote partnerships with ecosystem partners.
• Propose and support marketing campaigns.
• Manage Cobot leads and follow up.
• Monitor and record Cobot pipeline.
• Manage channel conflicts.
• Represent Cobot sales at events and in media.
• Ensure price consistency across channels.

Requirements:

• Driven and Proactive individual comfortable with opening doors to new customers.
• Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred).
• 5 years of relevant industry sales or related experience in robotics and automation.
• Strong technical and application knowledge in robotics, with some hands-on experience being a plus.
• Experience in coaching, motivating, and developing sales personnel to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

General information

As a Service Sales Specialist , you will be responsible for helping to drive sales volumes and margins across the service product portfolio and regularly updating the database with changes made on-site.

Reporting to Service Sales Manager, you will be playing a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base and promoting various upgrade, retrofit and value-added solutions.

This position is based in Singapore.

Your responsibilities

• Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them, and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed.
• Utilizing IB database to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifying and developing sales opportunities for service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market.
• Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios.
• Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM).
• Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy. Managing administrative sales processes.
• Contributing to risk assessments related to price and quality. Registering required information into the appropriate customer database.
• Translating the needs of customer into relevant ABB Service offerings and solutions.

Your background

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical /Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Possess 3 to 5 years of working experience in Engineering/Service Sales.
• Hands-on experience on Electrical Medium and Low voltage system servicing will be an added advantage.
• Highly sales driven and with the ability to develop and manage customer relationship.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.

As a Training Centre Manager / Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring continuous planning for the training function, assigning proper instructors and classrooms for each scheduled course, and providing schedule changes for other departments in case of over schedule.

Reporting to Service Manager, you will be providing technical expertise to the overall EL services technical training curriculum (ABB active products, legacy ABB products, & AVO Training Institute).

Your responsibilities:

• Providing facility management & oversight of EL services training center within the functional and geographical area of responsibility. Ensuring safety & regulatory compliance in collaboration with Local HSE manager.
• Establishing pricing for courses and provides relevant date for use with proposals. Selecting, managing, and ensuring proper training of outsourced trainers.
• Planning periodic training for course instructors to ensure knowledge of current technical environment and solutions. Maintaining detailed record of the training courses attended by internal resources.
• In cooperation with the local HSE responsible person, ensures that HSE requirements as per ABB way are integrated and up to date in all business processes and applications used for trainings driven by the trainer.
• Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
• Developing /following technical curriculum developed by respective primary service centers for all active ABB & Legacy ABB products to support services training needs for both internal and external customers as per the local market demands.
• Developing technical content repository for training curriculums. This repository shall include training content (for both face-to-face and online/remote trainings), hands-on labs, & post course written assessments for both internal and external customer curriculum.
• Personally seeking “TRAINER” certifications of all ABB products. This will allow training for all global products to be conducted in the SG & reduce time & T&L for traveling to other primary service centers for training.
