• Strategic development and execution of marketing plans and tactics for FreeStyle Libre to drive market penetration and accelerate profitable sales growth.

MAIN / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement annual business plans to achieve business targets
• Plan and execute marketing activities flawlessly, working closely with cross-functional teams and partners
• Localize the global brand campaigns when necessary and execute 360 across all relevant channels HCPs, consumer, e-commerce, CRM and retail
• Develop and implement 360-communication plan with traditional and digital media and other consumer touchpoints, working with local media agencies, country manager, distributors and sales teams
• Track and articulate market performance, trends (e.g., digital media, social listening, competitive tracking, medical, regulatory, technological, social, environmental, and legal). and identify their impact on the business to influence business strategy, identify future risks and opportunities and ensure the business is delivering upon its growth targets.

• Work collaboratively with Area and local cross functional teams to execute marketing initiatives with success, as well as identify further opportunities for Freestyle Libre.

MINIMUM BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• A basic degree in business studies, marketing, or any sciences
• 8+ years of consumer marketing management experience gained at a country, regional or global level of an MNC; experience in HCP marketing will be an added advantage
• Preferably in the pharmaceutical and/or FMCG Health or OTC /medical device industry
• Knowledge & experience in diabetes category will be advantageous

Beyond day to day marketing, there will be involvement with Business Development (BD) to build the product pipeline and fill the innovation hub. The role is tasked with (1) innovative marketing plans, in partnership with affiliate businesses and the global marketing team (2) forecasting marketing initiatives based on consumer insights and analysis of new business opportunities (3) enhancing the capabilities and talent pipeline in the marketing organization (4) leading programs to deliver on the APAC strategy to double the size of the business.

The position is responsible for also working closely with cross functional teams across the geographies.

Responsibilities

• To review and support the APAC region’s strategic business plans for the group of products (Brands, BGX, Gx and OTx) and to support APAC region’s sales and share growth for the group of products with a focus on current as well as the product portfolio of new launches.
• Provide support to affiliate to assure the commercial success of assigned brands/TA
• Ensure APAC EPD builds and enhances a Marketing led mindset with insights, patients and customers at the core of everything delivered.
• Develop project and marketing plans supporting new product introductions from both internal and external resources
• Success in the role will take into account the delivery of sales against Plan numbers, utilization of the promotional support budget and improved market share of brands across TAs.
• Design, manage and support marketing insights driven brand plans for APAC EPD with the involvement as appropriate of all key stakeholders. The plans should identify future trends and address all key issues, CSFs and execution steps.
• Work cross functionally across APAC in executing the annual and long term marketing plan.
• Ensure Affiliate Marketing plans are reviewed, challenged and executed well.
• Design, plan and organize execution of key regional marketing programs for the brands including digital and multichannel customer engagement.
• Create mechanisms to monitor and assess execution of marketing programs. Adapt plan and tactics accordingly
• Be responsible for Regional launch plans and ensure optimal utilization of the planned promotional support budget
• Ensure suitable commercial input for NPD business case evaluation (clinical development and Licensing & Acquisitions (L&A))

• Support Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly APAC Commercial Processes

• Prepare month end balance sheet commentary and analysis

• Assist in LBE, LBE Confirmations, and Plan presentations to the Division Controller

• Monitor Bad Debt Reserve and partner with Order to Cash team for the APAC to recover past due Accounts Receivables

• Update LBE processes and partner with APAC countries to create easy to use consolidation files

• Quarterly Balance sheet LBEs forecast for APAC countries by county by Balance sheet items.

• Review country P&Ls, Balance Sheet and Cash Convertible Cycles (CCC) for all APAC countries

• Annual transfer price submissions and other Transfer Pricing requests from countries

• Support APAC commercial head with any ad hoc requests received from the Division Controller or others, with any business review information requests, and with assembling presentation decks

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience with focus on Financial Planning and Analysis, preferably within healthcare/pharma/medical device industry
