JOB DESCRIPTION
- Participate in user requirement study and system functionality analysis/design including:
1) Understand the relevant “as-is” user/system processes, source to target data models / flow.
2) Identify user process, data and system functional gaps between “as-is” and “to-be” and document.
- Conduct or facilitate user requirement or functional analysis discussion sessions
- Write complete documentation such as functional document, data mapping document and interface and report specification. Conduct or facilitate the documents’ review sessions and revise/finalize the documents.
- Escalate issues / risks relating user requirement/system functionalities for project management team discussion and decision.
- Collaborate with our client, internal development team and external vendor to solve functional issues relating to technical design or limitations and determine the solutions and design together with tech team during the whole project period.
- Able to communicate to the technical team (internal or customer) the functionalities / data mapping rules to support their development.
- Support SIT and UAT on functional / data mapping related discrepancies or issues
- Track, escalate and follow up the functional outstanding items / issues
- REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in computing, IT, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics and or related fields
- At least 3 years of working experience in IT systems / projects and involved in user requirement analysis, system analysis and system design including document preparation (such as functional specification, data mapping specification, etc.)
- Good knowledge of basic banking products such as loans, fixed deposit, current and savings account, credit cards and general ledger.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point
- Experience in data integration and transformation
- Experience in banking IT projects, banking regulatory reporting / internal management reporting or finance data warehouse.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Basic skills in SQL
- At least 3 years’ experience in eliciting requirements and testing
- At least 3 years’ experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions.
- Familiarity with ETL process, Informatica and/or PL/SQL is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills with external and internal parties.
- Self-learning and on the job learning skill is essential.
- Advantages
- Perform quality assurance and write data management and alerting requirements Experience in expenses allocation for bank/finance organizations.
- Experience in trade finance, treasury, derivatives, etc is an advantage.
·Familiar with various banking channel such as branch activities, ATM, phone banking, internet banking, mobile banking, etc.
