We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Projects Engineer - Industrial Automation to join our Industrial Automation & Digitalization team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of industrial automation control systems, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects and maintaining client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- PLC, SCADA, and HMI Systems Development: Program and develop automation systems using Siemens, Rockwell, Wonderware/AVEVA, and other relevant platforms.
- Control Panel & Electrical Architecture Design: Design and develop electrical systems and control panels to meet project requirements.
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT): Conduct Hardware and Software FAT to ensure the system meets specifications and requirements before delivery.
- Site Acceptance Testing (SAT): Perform testing and commissioning of automation systems at client locations to ensure they function as expected.
- Technical Support for Sales Team: Provide technical assistance to the Sales team during project bidding and tender processes.
- Onsite & Remote Support: Offer technical support for ongoing projects, both onsite and remotely, to address client needs and resolve any issues.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure effective project implementation.
- Travel Requirements: Travel within Singapore and internationally (including offshore Oil & Gas facilities) for project implementation and meetings as necessary.We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Projects Engineer - Industrial Automation to join our Industrial Automation & Digitalization team. Requirements:
- Experience: 3-6 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and digitalization.
- Automation Systems Expertise: Proficiency in programming and working with PLC, SCADA, HMI systems, preferably using Siemens, Rockwell, Wonderware/AVEVA platforms.
- Control Panel Design: Experience in designing and developing electrical architectures and control panels for industrial systems.
- Knowledge of Communication Protocols: Strong understanding of various communication protocols used in industrial automation (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC).
- Industry-Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with automation technologies specific to the Pharma, Oil & Gas industries is an advantage.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Ability to provide both onsite and remote technical support and troubleshooting during the execution of automation projects.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with colleagues and clients both locally and internationally.
