Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Planning and Control Engineer to join our team for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in project management tools, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Working Schedule:Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  Total Hours per Week: 44 hours
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
• Conduct project planning and control activities, including resource allocation, budgeting, and cost control.
• Track project performance, identifying deviations from the plan, and recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare and present project reports, including progress reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
• Assist in risk management by identifying potential delays and providing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure the alignment of project timelines with business objectives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project schedules and changes.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and optimize the project delivery process.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Planning and Control Engineer or similar role in [relevant industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, etc.].
• Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
  In-depth knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, and resource management.
  
• Soft Skills:Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  
• Other Requirements:Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
