We are seeking a talented and experienced Process Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Process Designer, you will play a critical role in designing and optimizing industrial processes, ensuring efficient operations and cost-effective solutions. You will work closely with engineers and technical teams to create detailed process layouts, flow diagrams, and technical schematics to meet project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Process Systems: Develop and design process layouts, including flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment configurations.
- Collaborate with Engineers: Work closely with process engineers to design and improve processes for manufacturing, production, or industrial systems.
- Documentation & Standards: Create and maintain accurate design documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Optimization: Analyze existing processes and propose design improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
- CAD Drawings: Use CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) to produce accurate technical drawings and schematics.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Process Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in process design, industrial systems, or a related field.
- Experience with process flow design and drafting technical drawings (P&IDs, process flow diagrams, system schematics).
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools).
- Solid understanding of process engineering principles, flow dynamics, and system design.
- Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ANSI, OSHA) and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in designs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Problem-solving abilities to identify process inefficiencies and design solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting designs and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.
- Experience in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
- Previous experience in industries such as oil & gas, chemical, manufacturing, or pharmaceuticals.
