Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer or equivalent position
• Experience in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS and JS/TS) as well as any web framework (React, Angular, Vue etc)
• Experience in Node.js/TypeScript will be advantageous though we are open for other server side languages
• Experience in architecting multi-tenancy architecture will be advantageous
• Experience in search technologies like ElasticSearch, Lunr
• Experience in creating frameworks/libraries/tools for other teams to spin up new applications easily(infra, database, servers, UI)
• Mentored teammates on new ways to deepen their technical craft
• Able to grasp business domain concepts and set appropriate technical directions at the right level of abstraction.
• Previous experience with developer tooling is a bonus

What you will be working on:

● Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software applications.

● Improve software quality using Scrum practices such as code review and unit testing.

● Assist PO/BA on user stories refinement.

● Assist QA on test automation and bug fixes.

● Assist DevOps on build and release automation.

● Prepare interface specifications and other architecture documents.

What are we looking for:

As a Software Engineering Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in leading a team of talented software engineers in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software products. Outside of your own engineering team, you will need to work alongside other Tech Leads and closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Designers, and QA Engineers, to shape and execute the technical vision of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a deep understanding of Agile principles, and the ability to mentor and guide team members to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

● A minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant working experience, of which at least 1 year in managing a team is preferred. Have led a team and products that use the above programming languages for at least 3 years.

● Experience in modern web application technologies such as

React, Typescript (FE), Nodejs (BE), Postgresql (BE), TypeORM (BE), and Typescript (BE) are required.

● Experience in Nextjs, and RoR (Ruby on Rails) is good to have.

Experience in the following would be advantageous:

● Agile processes/practices (e.g. Scrum, Extreme Programming)

● Continuous integration/continuous deployment

● Docker/container technology

● Kubernetes along with docker and container

● Postgresql
