Position Overview:
The AV Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless audio-visual (AV) operations and production for MAS's critical internal and external engagements. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and creativity to support MAS's high standards of professionalism and innovation. The AV Lead will manage AV systems, coordinate events, and oversee multimedia production, contributing to MAS's mission of promoting a sound and progressive financial center.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Support and Coordination
- Plan, coordinate, and manage AV requirements for major meetings, webinars, events, recordings, and video productions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical needs and deliver tailored AV solutions.
2. Operate and manage control room and studio equipment for live events or recordings.
- Multimedia Content Creation
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the creation and post-production of multimedia content.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality videos, graphics, and other digital media assets aligned with MAS's standards.
3. System Maintenance and Inventory Management
- Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure all AV systems remain in optimal condition.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of AV equipment for audits and operational readiness.
4. Contractor and Vendor Management
- Oversee AV contractors to ensure service delivery aligns with contracts and service level agreements.
- Manage contract administration, assess vendor performance, and verify services rendered before payment.
5. Technology and Innovation
- Stay updated on emerging AV, broadcasting, and video conferencing technologies to recommend and implement advancements.
- Lead large-scale AV implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope and timelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum Diploma in Media, Mass Communications, AV, or equivalent.
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience in broadcasting, live production, or AV/VC operations with supervisory responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and strong video and photographic skills.
- In-depth knowledge of AV hardware (e.g., cameras, video switchers, lighting, sound systems) and software (e.g., TriCaster, OBS, vMix).
- Experience in studio production and familiarity with production sets and teams.
- Proven project management experience in large-scale AV implementations.
- Expertise in AV and VC systems (Crestron, Extron, Cisco, Bosch).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
