We are seeking a Data Architect with expertise in the banking and capital markets sector, focusing on Risk & Regulatory (Risk & Reg) reporting. This role involves designing data architectures to support financial data mapping and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and compliant data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data architectures for risk and regulatory reporting.
• Map financial data to regulatory reporting frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, risk, and technology teams to deliver tailored data solutions.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure technologies for data warehousing, governance, and analytics.
• Support integration and optimization of financial and risk data within enterprise platforms.
• Provide leadership on data management, modeling, ETL pipeline design, and governance frameworks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, preferably in banking or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of risk and regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., Basel III/IV, IFRS).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL).
• Proficiency in ETL tools, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience in delivering large-scale data projects in a regulated environment.
