This is a new Senior Finance Associate opportunity is with a global hedge fund based in Singapore. The position will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to strategic financial planning. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to support decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements, including tax filings, financial reporting standards, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulators during audits and examinations.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies, particularly related to financial risks.
• Identify areas for process improvement and automation within the finance function.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a hedge fund or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and investment principles.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis tools, and accounting software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, QuickBooks).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and geographies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.
