We are seeking an experienced Senior / HR Executive with expertise in Southeast Asia employment laws and practices to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR operations, providing support in various HR functions, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Responsibilities:
1) Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist the Manager in end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Assist in facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
2) Employee Relations:
- Handle employee queries and concerns, fostering a positive work environment.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts while ensuring adherence to company policies and local labor laws.
3) Performance Management:
- Administer performance appraisal processes and assist in developing performance improvement plans.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance employee performance and career development.
4) Compliance and Policies:
- Stay updated on regional labor laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with local laws and organizational objectives.
5) HR Administration:
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Apply for a work visa /work permit when needed for overseas project
- Arrange transportation, Air ticket arrangements, lodging arrangements, etc.
6) Payroll administration:
- Assist in regional payroll, Tax, staff claims, etc…
- Assistant in Insurance coverage
7) Benefits and Compensation:
- Support in managing compensation and benefits programs, including payroll administration.
- Assist in benchmarking and reviewing compensation structures to remain competitive in the market.
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources
- 3-5 years and above of relevant experience in HR Functions at regional.
- Good working knowledge of Employment-related/labor laws and regulations
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Organized, and meticulous, with the ability to prioritize tasks, good communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player
