Primary Responsibilities

Daily Engineering Operations

• Operates the equipment to deliver a comfortable room temperature to hotel areas.
• Operates the equipment to deliver clean water to the respective services in the hotel.
• Operates the equipment to deliver hot water to the respective services in the hotel as required.
• Operates the equipment to deliver clear and sharp images from the television and satellites equipment to hotel guest suites as required.

• Assists and supports the emergency operations team during an emergency and a crisis in a timely and efficient manner.

Shift Operations

• Rectifies equipment and facilities breakdown as required.

• Responds to requests relating to technical issues from hotel patrons in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collects daily utilities meter readings and verify plant / equipment are in proper operations as required.
• Patrols hotel grounds to verify fire and safety risk as required.

Plant and Facilities Services

• Operates plant facilities to support every aspect of hotel operations in a timely and efficient manner.

Summary

This position is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance and repair of the physical structure, utility services, equipment, fixtures, and furnishings of the hotel facilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with supervisor or technicians to carry out planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and repairs as per instructed by Engineer.
• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance programs for the various systems such as (not limited to) the following:
• Air-conditioning & electrical, refrigeration, FLS equipment, building maintenance including furniture & fixtures, parts renewal & repairs, kitchen equipment, low voltage (LV), guest rooms, F&B outlets, front/back of the house, plumbing & drainage.
• Comply with established safety practices while performing repair or retrofit of all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, etc. Operate, maintain and repairs all hotel systems, devices, controls, equipment, etc.
• Comply with all established procedures, e.g. Work Orders, Out-of-Order Rooms, Emergencies, etc.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, repair or retrofit of electrical, mechanical plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems.
• Records and analyses daily operating logs and utilities.
• Handles emergencies in repair works.
• Carry out improvement, maintenance and repair work on all building services and equipment according to the standards and requirements.
• Perform daily startup, shutdown and inspection of building services and equipment according to the standards and requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and perform Engineering housekeeping work.
• Be fully familiar of the Emergency Procedures, Policies and Standard Operating Procedures as established by the Hotel.

The Senior Shift Technician must have technical and manual skills for the operational and proper maintenance of the building structural, equipment, furnishings, mechanical plant and all facilities and physical appliances to the property.

Primary Responsibilities

· Responsible for Performing Preventive/Breakdown maintenance on all M&E Services and Building Works

· Lead a team of engineering crew to operate and carry out preventive / breakdown maintenance on all M&E services and building work

· Ensure standard of operation, safety and housekeeping are kept up to standard

· Assist in energy conservation initiatives

· Coordinate all Preventive/Breakdown Maintenance and repair work

· Electrical: Electrical system maintenance including electronic motors and installation work
