What to expect
As a Senior Manager in Accuracy, you will find yourself immersed in some of the most interesting and complex infrastructure projects in the world, in a variety of sectors such as transport, utilities, renewables and other infrastructure projects. You will work as part of a team of industry experts within Accuracy, solving complex business issues across the lifecycle of their infrastructure projects – from inception, business case planning, through to procurement, construction and operation. Your role might include:
- Supporting clients in initiating complex projects, including assessing the viability of projects and the impact that projects might have on society and the organisations delivering them;
- Establishing the structures to design, build, finance and operate projects, including effective procurement using a public, private partnership (PPP) framework;
- Transforming projects that are underway, looking into their governance and reporting structures, to maximise the likelihood of being delivered to original intent and objectives and delivered successfully; and
- Working with project owners and contractors to navigate challenging situations that arise during delivery and operation of projects which allow clients to understand how their projects have gone wrong (e.g. delay and cost overruns) and recommend mitigations to bring the project back on track.
Requirements
- An outstanding academic track record (2:1 or above) in Business and/or Engineering-related field
- Demonstrate experience in the lifecycle of a typical infrastructure project – can include experience in infrastructure feasibility studies, infrastructure project management and delivery or advising on projects in relation to procurement and project finance
- Experience in PPP projects, concessions and/or operational projects – Bid Side and/or Government Advisory experience would be preferred
- A demonstrable ability to analyse complex infrastructure project situations, and an ambition to become and expert advisor on projects
- A track-record in establishing effective relationships with clients and/or business managers
- Have led teams and contributed to the career development of team members
- Taken a proactive approach to your own career development
- Have an awareness and interest in local and international business and economic issues relevant to the field of infrastructure projects
- Exceptional numerical and analytical skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills (fluency in other languages is also desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, both locally and globally on projects
- Self-confidence and humility: curious, enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Have the right to work in Singapore
