A newly created role within Accuron Technologies Limited (“Accuron”) under the New Ventures segment. This role will report to the CFO and shall be responsible for the following:
(I) ANVEN Pte Ltd (“ANVEN”) is a company in the New Ventures segment.
- provide guidance to the Accountant in establishing and implementing corporate governance. This includes formulating policies and standard operating procedures aligned with those set by Accuron, addressing various aspects of costing, treasury, risk management and others.
- responsible for the successful implementation of the new ERP system.
- oversight of the day-to-day finance operations to ensure smooth functioning, including timely reporting to the group and regulatory authorities. This encompasses responsibility (for Goods & Services Tax, corporate income tax, withholding taxes, transfer pricing and any other requisite international filings mandated by Accuron, etc.).
- business partner with the Managing Director (“MD”) to prepare quarterly forecasts, multi-year projections, and annual budgeting
- communicate with all relevant stakeholders and manage their deliverables.
(II) Joint Ventures & new acquisitions:
- independently lead the finance, tax, and treasury due diligence for new acquisitions and support the sponsor in pitching to the Investment & Divestment Committee.
- perform post-merger integration and/or provide finance oversight to investees after acquisition.
- review and track the financial performance of investee companies, including alignment for Accuron Group reporting (such as GAAP adjustments as applicable)
- responsible for group consolidated accounts for ANVEN business (legal and management purposes)
(III) Others:
- champion, lead, and execute the transformation of business processes for the entire Finance department.
- support the various initiatives of the group (including cross-functional projects); and
- any other ad-hoc projects assigned by the CFO.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy from a reputable university and a qualified Chartered Accountant of Singapore.
- Minimum 3 years of Big 4 external auditing experience.
- Proficient in Singapore Financial Reporting standards, particularly for business combinations.
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in a managerial capacity.
- Requisite working experience in a fast-paced, dynamic outfit.
- Knowledge of valuations for businesses would be preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP systems or other manufacturing ERP systems would be an added advantage.
