Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
- Maximizes network performance and optimization by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and scheduling upgrades when necessary
- Oversee maintenance of all IT system in line with IT security policy
- Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access
- Ensure project tasks are completed on time and project goals are achieved
Relevant experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in network engineering, administration, or related roles
Basic skills required:
- Diploma / Bachelor degree in IT related field
- Strong understanding of network protocols (Eg: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF)
- Knowledge on LAN/WAN networking, network design, problem solving, network hardware configuration and project management
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
- Knowledge of network security best practices and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Responsible, resourceful, customer oriented and an independent player
